Which deck type should I pick?Five templates to start from.
French is the classic 52 with two jokers, and the only type Solitaire accepts. Spanish comes as 40 cards or as 48 with two jokers. German has 32 cards and Swiss has 36.
Change one card, a suit or the whole deckThe Apply to control in the editor.
- Open a deck on the Decks tab and tap a card.
- Open Apply to and pick This card, This suit or Whole deck.
- Use a tool at the bottom. The change reaches every card in that range.
Change a suit shape and its ink24 shapes and 12 inks.
Open a card and tap Suit. Pick a shape from the classic, Spanish, German, Swiss or extra groups, then a paint colour. If an ink is too faint for the paper, the app adjusts it so the card still prints clearly.
Move the pipsFive layouts for number cards.
Tap Layout on a number card and choose classic, column, scatter, big pip or index only.
Undo a change or start the card overNothing is final until you save.
Undo and Redo sit at the top of the editor, and the reset button below the card returns it to its starting look. Your draft saves itself as you work, and swiping moves to the next card.
Decorate the aces and frame the courtsTools that appear on certain cards.
Ornament appears on aces and offers laurel, sunburst or rosette. Frame appears on jacks, queens and kings and offers classic, banner, arch or stamp. The tools change with the card you open.

Where my photos are keptInside the app, on your iPhone.
Photos are processed on the device and stored in the app. They leave it only when you share a deck file, since the file carries its photos. Read more in the Privacy Policy.
Design the card backSix patterns and a Shuffle button.
- Open a deck and tap Extras, then the back card.
- Choose Kaleidoscope, Lattice, Rosette, Medallion, Stripes or Checker.
- Set the symmetry to 4, 6, 8 or 12, then adjust the colours and density.
- Tap Shuffle for a new idea, or Save when it looks right.
Add or remove the white borderHandy for printing.
The back designer has a white border option. Leaving it on hides small cutting errors, because the pattern does not run to the edge of the card.
Make print sheetsA PDF with cards laid out and marked.

- Tap Print sheets (PDF), then Continue.
- Choose A4 or US Letter, and turn on Back pages or Crop marks if you need them.

Print double-sidedLine up the fronts and backs.
Turn on Back pages to add mirrored pages of the back. Printers flip paper in different ways, so run one test sheet first and hold it up to a window to check the alignment.

Klondike is built on the 52 French cards, so Spanish, German and Swiss decks are not offered there. They all work in Memory and in Higher or Lower.
Leave a game and come backYour round can wait.
If the app goes to the background the round is saved, and Continue last game appears in that game's window. Closing a round yourself asks Leave the game? first, because that progress is lost.
Sounds, haptics and remindersAll in the Settings tab.
Settings has switches for Sound, Haptics and Notifications, which is the daily theme reminder. You can also set the default paper size and the Solitaire draw there.
Erase everythingDecks and photos, for good.
Go to Settings and tap Erase all decks. Deleting the app has the same effect. There is no cloud copy, so this cannot be undone.
