Privacy Policy

Summary

OneDeck Studio is an iPhone app for designing, printing and playing your own deck of playing cards. The app and this website are operated by its developer as listed on the App Store. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use them.

• We have no servers that receive your decks, photos, game scores or settings.
• The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code.
• We only receive information from you if you email us.

What the app stores

Everything below is saved in the app's own storage on your device. It is included in your device backups according to your iOS settings, and we cannot access it.

Decks

Deck names, card settings, back designs, and the date each deck was last edited.

Photos on court cards

The pictures you add, and the styled versions made from them. Images are processed on your iPhone. The app finds the face in a picture using Apple's on-device tools, only to place the oval, and nothing about the face is sent anywhere.

Games and progress

Best scores, number of rounds, a paused round, your daily theme record and streak.

Preferences

Sound, haptics, reminder, paper size and Solitaire draw settings, and which tips you have already seen.

Permissions the app asks for

Each one is optional, and you can change it at any time in the iOS Settings app. The rest of the app keeps working if you decline.

Camera

Asked when you tap Take photo, so you can photograph a face for a court card. Pictures stay in the app.

Add to Photos

Asked when you save card images or a wallpaper. This access only adds images and does not let the app read your library.

Photo picker

Choose from library uses the iOS picker, which needs no permission. The app only receives the picture you select.

Notifications

Asked once, for a daily reminder about the design theme. The reminder is scheduled on your iPhone and no notification server is involved. You can turn it off in the app's Settings.

When something leaves your device

Only when you decide to send it, through the iOS share sheet or by saving a file.

• A shared .onedeck file contains the deck's settings and its photos, along with a preview picture. Anyone who receives it can see those photos, so share with care and ask people before putting their faces on a deck you pass around.
• PDF sheets, card images and wallpapers are made on your iPhone and go wherever you send them.
• The services you choose for sending, such as Messages, AirDrop or a print service, handle the file under their own terms.

Crash reports

If you have agreed in iOS to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and basic usage statistics. You control this in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security.

Emails to support

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use them only to answer you, keep them for as long as that takes, and delete them on request. Our support address forwards mail through Cloudflare Email Routing.

This website

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site. We use no cookies, no analytics and no advertising on this site. The contact form does not send anything to us by itself: it opens your own email app with the message filled in.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you. In practice:

• To remove what the app stores, go to Settings and tap Erase all decks, or delete the app.
• To ask about or delete your emails with us, write to the address below.

Changes to this policy

If the app or this site starts to handle information differently, we will update this page and the date at the top.
